  Color Stage was founded in Houston, Texas, in 1979, by Mark Fernandes, the current owner. The company was initially called "Lil Bit of Power Lighting Co." The business originally formed as a retail store for stage and lighting, but soon evolved into a full fledged production company.

   In 1988, the business packed up and moved to Louisville, KY and Color Stage Systems was born. For twenty-five years Colorstage Systems has been gratefully and loyally serving the city of Louisville and the surrounding region.
